Snack Platter Ideas for Board-Game Nights

Our snack platter ideas for board-game nights are inspired by snacks enjoyed in other households. You’re sure to get to know each other better if you each bring some of the snacks you love to the dinner table.

Snacks to Share

It’s fun to see what other families enjoy eating and making. People always enjoy sharing favourite foods. You’re sure to get to know each other better if you each bring some of the snacks you love to the dinner table. If you’re hosting the thing, then you could always just buy bulk candy or chips in order to keep everyone fed. But make sure to switch it up and try new things.

For example, what kind of snacks do you love? What snacks are your kids most interested in trying? How do you prepare the snacks for your games? I’m sharing a few snack ideas for board-game nights, based on my family’s experience and love of snacks for board games.

Snacks Game Nights

If it’s an adult game night on any online casino Canada has on offer, lots of snacks will be needed because lots of fun is to be had, but what about board game nights that are more family-oriented?

Chocolate Truffles – My kids absolutely love chocolate truffles. But they only love chocolate truffles when they’re raw, which means you can only make them once or twice and then you have to wait to eat them for about a week or more. Instead, I’ve found that my kids prefer to snack on truffles after they’ve been formed into balls for use in my board games. If they’re frozen, I snack on truffles on the long drive to an activity that we’re participating in together. My favourite game to play with truffles is Candy Kingdom. My family also loves playing Candy Castle and Mini Mini Fun Club with homemade chocolate truffles on the game board. If you don’t have the time to make the truffles before your game night, you can snack on truffles anytime after you’ve made the truffles, when you’re cleaning up the board, or anytime after you’ve made some kind of sweet treat.

Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups – Whenever I think about snacks for board games, I think about peanut butter cups. They can be a good choice when playing Monsters of the Multiverse or similar tabletop games. Such strategic games could be popular among children since they can be played with family. That said, peanut butter cups are a kid favorite and a kid and grown-up favorite at the same time. The only difference is that the grown-ups like the chocolate and peanuts that you can find in the store, while the kids like the peanut butter with chocolate and peanut butter mix you can make yourself. My favourite thing to make is peanut butter cups with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. I don’t usually make a lot of these as they’re a recipe you really need to have the ingredients to get just right. This recipe is what I use for snacks on occasion. The biggest tip I have for making this recipe is to make sure that you have enough peanut butter cups to make enough peanut butter cups for the recipes. Once you’ve made the peanut butter cups, you need to make sure that you have enough peanut butter cups for the peanut butter cups you’re making for other snacks. Otherwise, you’ll find yourself running out of peanut butter cups while you’re making snacks for your board-game nights. You can eat peanut butter cups raw, or you can enjoy the peanut butter that’s left over from making peanut butter cups for your game nights.
