Mark Zuckerberg announces birth of second daughter, August
Mark Zuckerberg’s social network just got a bit bigger. The Facebook chief executive has announced that his wife Priscilla Chan has given birth to the couple’s second daughter, August. In a post on his Facebook page, they welcomed her into the family and talked about their hopes for her future. “Priscilla and I are so happy to welcome our daughter August! We wrote her a letter about the world we hope she grows up in, and also hoping she doesn’t grow up too fast.”

Newborn babies at risk as Brexit threatens access to milk bank
Vulnerable newborn Irish babies could be denied life-saving breast milk in the case of a hard Brexit. The only bank of human milk in Ireland, based in Fermanagh, has told The Times that Irish maternity hospitals will depend on “political decisions” on the border with Northern Ireland to continue to access milk. The milk bank is one of a number of cross-border healthcare projects that may not continue without the Irish government securing a new deal with the UK.
